The 18-year-old musician chatted with gURL.com about her dancey sound, trying to prank Mitchel Musso with Miley Cyrus and why there’s no rivalry with her older brother Haley Joel Osment. Check it:
On choosing dance vs. pop: “I was more into dance mainly because I think that’s what I was listening to at the moment. And when I decided on a producer I went with Nellee [Hooper], who’s created that stuff and is huge everywhere. He works with No Doubt and U2, lots of different artists. All the songs are very different and some of them are very acoustic, and sort of Air-sounding. There’s about three or four tracks on the record like that, but they still tie into all the other fun, Euro dance songs we have on the record as well.”
